How to Acquire a Good Domain Name for Parking

Although it is possible to earn with BenePark just by parking your registered domains, it is wiser to spend some time and find good domains with backlinks. There are many ways to find the right domain, but let's consider the most efficient, financially affordable method - registering deleted domains no longer in us, available for new registration by everyone and at a normal registrar's price. You won't get a domain higher than PR3 by doing this, but it is possible to catch some really good domains with backlinks - enough for parking. Such domains will earn 2-3 times more than a new one.

We recommend RegisterCompass tool to find good deleted domains. RegisterCompass charges a flat price of $37/month for access to their domain database - quite reasonable! And, if you've not made more than 25 searches within the first month of service, you may ask for a refund. Before registering with RegisterCompass, read through to the end and see our suggestions for efficiently digging domains.

First of all, please read this page at RegisterCompass about the current Google PR situation and how deletion of domains affects it. You have to focus on backlinks, not PR. You have to explore all Google, Yahoo and Alexa backlinks.

When checking Google backlinks, you must open all of the pages linking back and look up their codes for the actual link to the domain in question. This is because Google can show nonexisting backlinks if the domain in question was clued with another popular domain.

A good domain should have no less than 2-3 backlinks shown in Google and Alexa, and no less than 15 in Yahoo. So, switch to Advanced Search in RegisterCompass and set the following search criteria recommended by us:
  • Backlink Filter: Google Links > 0, Yahoo Links > 15 and Alexa Links > 3.
  • Indexed Pages Filter: Google Indexed > 0 (we need to be sure the domain in not banned in Google).
  • Expired Domains Only Filter, Expired Last: 10 days for the first search and less - later.
  • Domain Name Filter, choose: .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and .us domains (other TLDs could not be accepted by BenePark for now).
Now, click Start Domain Search and get a list of Expired Domains at the right. Click View and look for interesting domains by evaluating Google, Yahoo, and Alexa backlinks. Do not be lazy - check some backlinks manually before buying a domain. Check that backlinks have no "nofollow" tags (usually in blogs' comments, Yahoo shows them). Backlinks from Yahoo Directory, .edu and .gov domains are very valuable. Note: red dot in Google PR column indicates for sure that the domain is clued with another, and most of Google backlinks actually lead to another domain. But, a clued domain is not a black mark; maybe this domain was used before and still keep some backlinks, just check thoroughly.

You can disable Google Links > 0 check to get more results because Google sometimes disables backlink indication for the parked domains.

We hope that this small guide helps you to find valuable domains. Your question and comments are always welcomed!
